LUTZ COMMUNITY RADIO

GOVERNMENT MISSION COMPLETED: DESTRUCTION OF A PERFECTLY GOOD RADIO FACILITY - A FACILITY THAT WAS RECOGNIZED AS AN ASSET TO THE COMMUNITY AND WHICH CAUSED NO INTERFERENCE TO ANY EMERGENCY SERVICE

It is interesting to note that the government did not choose to remove the non-licensed FM Band antennas from the tower, and leave standing the 90% of the antenna system which was beneficial to the community and FCC licensed.

It is also interesting to note that, although the FCC had the 80 foot tower taken away by truck, it did not bother to haul away the non-licensed FM Band antennas at all! All of the antennas are still laying in the yard. They make an excellent monument to Tyranny in AmeriKa.

The most expensive and capable antenna on the tower was a five-element, 3-band, dual-feed, HF Yagi. The FCC did not see fit to lay that antenna on the ground, intact, when it was removed from the tower. Instead, each element was disassembled, and the stainless steel hardware scattered about, so as to inflict maximum punitive effect. This can be seen in the foundation photograph.
